What's on top?

Are you looking to effectively mobilise and build community engagement on your campaign? Are you passionately working for environmental protection and social justice and looking to broaden your knowledge and experience in community organising? Does your theory of change place people power at the centre?

If yes, we encourage you to apply for this intensive 6 month program that will give you the skills needed to help grow a powerful social movement to protect our environment and communities. Or perhaps you know someone who'd benefit from the program (please share this email with them!).

The Community Organising Fellowship is deepening community organising skills and practices to create a cohort of effective organisers. The program includes

• An annual cohort of 25 organisers developing the core skills needed to confidently launch and build local campaigns

• Four experiential workshops: 10 day retreat 23 Feb to 3 March followed by 4-day workshops in the first weeks of May, July and September

• Mentoring and network support between and after workshops and

• An extensive collection of training materials shared online and support to share training in your community.

Join a growing network of effective organisers who together are mobilising communities across Australia. The first two cohorts were exclusively recruited from climate, coal, gas and renewable energy campaigns. This year we are also inviting applications from campaigners working on other environment and social justice issues.
