In other news, we're inching closes to launching the first instalment of the People Power Manual that we've been working on for several years. The first instalment is a 150 page guide for campaign strategy written by and for activist educators and campaigners, containing how-to guides for 24 strategising processes. Advocacy evaluation is a craft, one in which tacit knowledge, skill and networks are more useful than the application of a rigid methodology. It is an exercise in trained judgment. The evaluator, rather than the formal qualities of the evaluation, is what matters.
